Common questions
Is MenuBeacon available in Pakistan?
Yes. MenuBeacon has a Pakistan version built for local restaurants: menus priced in PKR, table QR ordering, waiter orders for dine-in and takeaway, a live kitchen board, cash collection, GST and printed bills. Choose Pakistan as your country when you sign up and everything is set up for you.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. Guests scan the QR code on their table with the phone camera and the menu opens in the browser. They can order straight away — no app, no account and no OTP.
How do customers pay?
Customers pay the way they already do — cash or at the counter. Each order records Cash or Pay at Counter, and your staff mark it paid when the money is collected. Online card payments are not part of the Pakistan version.
Can waiters take orders on their phone?
Yes, on Pro. Create staff accounts with a PIN; waiters choose Dine In and a table, or Takeaway, add dishes and notes, and send the order to the kitchen.
Does it handle GST and service charge?
Yes. Set your tax label and rate, choose inclusive or exclusive pricing and add a service charge. For example, a Rs 4,000 bill with 15% exclusive GST shows Rs 600 tax and a Rs 4,600 total. You enter the rate that applies to your restaurant.
Can I print bills and kitchen tickets?
Yes. Any order can be printed as a customer bill or a kitchen ticket, including add-ons and notes. It works with standard 80 mm thermal receipt printers connected to your computer.

The Free plan costs nothing, forever: menus, table QR ordering, the kitchen board, cash orders and printing. Pro is Rs 5,000 a month and adds waiter accounts and higher limits, billed locally in PKR — no international card needed.
