MenuBeacon product
A live kitchen board that runs in the browser
Move orders through Received, Preparing, Ready, and Done on an existing tablet or computer. Hear new-order alerts, print tickets, and keep the front and kitchen on the same status.
The browser-based kitchen dashboard is included on Free. MenuBeacon supplies the software; use a compatible device and printer you already own.

Four-stage board
Received, Preparing, Ready, and Done columns keep work visible.
New-order sound
Audio notifications help staff notice a new ticket on the live board.
Ticket and bill printing
Print manually or configure automatic ticket printing for the kitchen.
The operational problem
A paper ticket should not be the only source of truth
When orders arrive from tables, pickup, delivery, or staff, a shared board helps the team see what is new, what is in progress, and what is ready to leave the pass.
What changes
One visible queue from received to done
The kitchen can update an order status in place while the rest of the restaurant follows the same workflow. Printing remains available for teams that want a physical ticket.
How it works
A status every part of the restaurant can understand
Orders from guest and staff channels meet in the same operational queue.
-
1
Receive
A submitted order appears in the Received column with its table or fulfillment context.
-
2
Prepare
The kitchen accepts the work and moves it into preparation.
-
3
Mark ready
Finished items move to Ready for handoff, pickup, or service.
-
4
Complete
Done keeps the active board focused while preserving order history.

Continuity with honest limits
Live updates have a polling fallback, and signed-in staff can keep limited cash operations going offline.

Good fit for
Use it where it removes a real handoff
- Combine guest and staff-entered orders
- Make ready-for-service work visible
- Keep a printed-ticket option alongside the live board
Straight answers
Kitchen Display System questions

Can the kitchen print tickets?
Yes. The kitchen supports ticket and bill printing, including configurable automatic ticket printing.
Can staff enter an order manually?
Yes. Authorized staff can create manual table or takeaway orders.
Does the kitchen board work offline?
