QR menus and restaurant ordering for US service
Run browser-based menus, table and direct ordering, a live kitchen queue, and eligible online payments with US restaurant currency, time-zone, and tax settings kept in context.
US restaurant menus and orders use USD. Online payments require Pro, a connected and onboarded restaurant Stripe account, and enabled payment settings.

USD throughout the order
Menu prices, bills, gift cards, refunds, and reports use the restaurant currency.
US time-zone choices
Choose the restaurant time zone so order times, schedules, and reports follow the venue.
Restaurant-owned payments
Supported card and wallet payments settle through the onboarded restaurant Stripe account.
The operational problem
Generic restaurant software often loses the local operating context
Currency, time zone, payment ownership, tax configuration, and receipt details affect real orders. MenuBeacon stamps a US restaurant with US market settings when the account and venue are created.
What changes
One service flow with US market controls
Guests can browse and order in the browser while the restaurant remains the seller. Eligible online charges use the restaurant’s connected Stripe account; tax configuration remains the restaurant’s responsibility.
How it works
Set the market once, then build the service flow
The account choice establishes market rules before the first restaurant is launched.
-
1
Choose United States
Start with the US market selected so the restaurant is created with USD and eligible US settings.
-
2
Set the restaurant location
Choose the correct US time zone and verify the venue details used by schedules and receipts.
-
3
Build and test the menu
Create items, modifiers, table codes, ordering rules, and the kitchen workflow on Free.
-
4
Onboard optional Pro tools
Connect Stripe and configure only the payment, tax, loyalty, reservation, or integration tools the restaurant will use.
Available service paths
Use MenuBeacon around the way the restaurant already serves.
- Dine-in and staff-entered orders
- Direct pickup and restaurant-run delivery
- Eligible pay-at-table, deposits, gift cards, and refunds on Pro
Commercial boundaries
MenuBeacon supplies software; the restaurant remains responsible for its own commerce.
- Restaurant is the seller to its guests
- Stripe onboarding required for online payments
- Sales-tax registration and configuration remain with the restaurant and its advisers
Good fit for
Use it where it removes a real handoff
- Keep USD and local order times consistent
- Connect table, direct-order, and kitchen workflows
- Add restaurant-owned online payments when onboarding is complete
