Is Free really free?
Yes. No trial clock, no credit card. Free includes menus, photos, branding, table ordering, the kitchen dashboard, and cash orders for as long as you like.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
No — and you do not need one. Free is a full product with no expiry; Pro is month to month with no contract, so trying it costs $20 and cancelling is one click.
What is only in Pro?
Card, Apple Pay & Google Pay at the table, loyalty & gift cards, reservations, staff accounts, multi-location, AI menu import, integrations, and white-label. Plus the highest limits: unlimited menus, 200 table QR codes, and 50,000 scans a month.
Does MenuBeacon take a cut of my orders?
No. Pro is a flat monthly fee with no per-order commission. Only standard Stripe processing fees apply if you enable card payments.
Can I switch between Free and Pro?
Yes. Upgrade or cancel anytime from your dashboard; changes take effect immediately and billing is prorated by Stripe.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
You go back to Free. Menus, QR codes, ordering, and the kitchen dashboard keep working; Pro-only features pause and your data is preserved.
What currency are prices in?
Prices are in US dollars. Your guests pay in your restaurant's local currency through Stripe.
