Illustrative workflow · Product behaviour described on this page
Cards and eligible wallets
Stripe checkout can present card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Link when eligible.
Equal bill split
Dine-in guests can divide the bill into as many as 10 equal parts.
Tips and charges
Support tips, configured service charges, and valid promotion codes.
The operational problem
The end of the meal should not become another queue
A guest who is ready to leave can review the total and pay from the same phone used for the menu, while the restaurant keeps payment status connected to the order.
What changes
A clear payment path with restaurant controls
MenuBeacon uses Stripe for online payment. Wallet options appear only when eligible for the restaurant, device, browser, and domain.
How it works
From bill review to recorded payment
The guest-facing steps stay short while Stripe handles the payment details.
-
1
Open the table bill
The guest reviews the active dine-in total from the menu flow.
-
2
Choose full or equal split
One person can pay the full amount, or the group can divide it into equal parts.
-
3
Add a tip and pay
The guest chooses an available Stripe method and confirms payment.
-
4
Keep status with the order
The restaurant can see the result and manage supported full or partial refunds.
